Changes to Security Measures for Intuit Quicken, QuickBooks Online, and Mint Account Sync

Providing the security and safety you expect means responding to new threats with the best methods available. Because of that, we’re making an enhancement to our security measures for account holders who use Intuit Quicken, QuickBooks Online, and Mint technologies.

What to Expect

Starting Tuesday, January 26, an additional layer of security in the form of a multi-factor authentication (MFA) step will begin rolling out to member online banking accounts. You may begin seeing this change as early as January 26, or over the three weeks that follow as the new security is added to your account. In addition to your login and password information, you’ll be asked to provide a security access code (SAC) sent to you via text or email. This additional step will enable access to your account and represents a valuable new security layer.

When this change goes into place, you will need to reauthenticate within Quicken, QuickBooks Online, or Mint, to continue to sync your Elements data to those platforms.

Please contact a Member Contact Center, available 24/7, at 800-621-2105 if you have any questions about this boosted security feature for your account.
